Privacy & Cookie Policy

This policy explains how the campaign to elect Caitlin "Goose" Marsh to the Johnston County Soil & Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors ("the campaign," "we," "us") handles information collected through vote4goose.com (the "site").

Information we collect

If you use the "Get Involved" sign-up form, we collect what you choose to submit: your name, email address, ZIP code (optional), the box(es) you check under "I'd like to…", and any message you write. This information is sent to us through our form provider, Formspree, so we can follow up with you.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for security and performance — things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.

Cookies

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies involved are essential ones that our form provider, Formspree, may set to process a form submission securely. We don't use cookies to track you across other websites, and we don't sell or share data with data brokers or ad networks.

Third-party services

We use a small number of outside services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your questions, coordinate volunteers and yard-sign requests, and send campaign updates if you asked for them. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop sending updates, or to access, correct, or delete the information you've given us, at any time by emailing [email protected].

Children's privacy

This site is intended for voters and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the campaign's use of the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
